A government department in Canberra is seeking the services of a Digital Strategy Implementation Lead to take on the role of assisting the department to deliver on opportunities that digital transformation presents! Work closely with senior staff across the different levels to deliver the government's bold new vision for digital transformation - the Digital Transformation Strategy. You will build strong relationships and draw on all your program management strengths. 

You will drive digital transformation across government by leading the Strategy’s action plan. Working closely with agencies to establish the change agenda, track progress and manage risks, you will:

- Engage with agencies to draft the annual action plan

- Collect input from agencies, report on the program, connect agencies with solutions to mitigate risks

- Draft the action plan with agencies, for publishing late 2019


Skills Required:

  • Experience managing large programs across government agencies, where others are responsible for delivering outputs
  • Understanding of digital transformation opportunities, risks and barriers.
  • Ability to form sound working relationships, that build influence and cooperation between agencies.

The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
