Job Opportunity for SharePoint Consultants

A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of a SharePoint Consultant in Canberra. 

Contract Period : May 2018 to 30 Nov 2018 (with 2*6 months possible extension options)

The successful candidate will have the ability to work well in a high-pressure ICT environment and produce high quality outputs in line with departmental, divisional and branch objectives.  The candidate will also be required to operate effectively within a small team and have strong attention to detail, an ability to work against deadlines and maintain flexibility with the duties being undertaken.

The successful candidates will possess the following skills/experience: 

  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS, as well as SharePoint 2013 Administration skills.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement in service delivery or technical support role.
  • Marking up content pages in SharePoint 2013 or other web applications;
  • Team sites administration including setting permissions, monitoring storage, creating user accounts, auditing team sites , using google analytics for web statistics
  • Incidents resolution related to file uploads, sites not accessible, content publishing issues
  • Creating websites from templates and customizing functionality;
  • Creating surveys and online forms as per requirements specifications;
  • Providing customer service support to users of websites and applications;
  • Understanding and preparing change control documentation;
  • Sharing team workload during busy periods and contributing to process improvement activities to assist in speedy delivery of web services;
  • WCAG 2.0 level AA accessibility (Desirable)
  • Client side interactions developed with JavaScript (Desirable) 
  • Oracle Service Cloud Administration (Desirable)
  • Adobe Photoshop (Desirable)
  • Viostream platform (Desirable)

The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and Baseline clearance.
